Appointments

Elle Marie Hair Studio requires a minimum of 24 hour’s notice for all reservation changes or cancellations.

We understand that appointments can occasionally slip your mind and therefore offer several reminders prior to your appointment. These include email reminders 5, 3, and 2 days prior, a text reminder 1 day prior, and a phone call for all color appointments 2 days prior.

Should you fail to show up for your appointment within 10 minutes of the scheduled start time, refuse to comply with the required Health & Safety measures, or fail to provide Elle Marie Hair Studio with the minimum required 24 hours notice for any changes or cancellations, a No Show Fee of 50% of the services scheduled will be charged to the credit card associated with your account for the first occurrence. If you do not have a credit card on file, a Booking Hold will be placed on your account until the balance is paid in full. This No Show Fee will increase to 75% upon the second occurrence, and 100% upon the third.

While Elle Marie appreciates all of our guests as a whole, our commission-based stylists rely on each and every guest to accommodate their own personal finances. If you are unable to attend an appointment, we would greatly appreciate your help in providing us as much notice as possible to allow our stylists to offer that time slot to other guests.

We understand there are times when an unforeseeable event may cause you to be late for your scheduled appointment. We will always do our best to accommodate you, however when we reserve time for our guests, we require all of that time to provide you with the best quality work possible. When you are late, it decreases our ability to accomplish this. If you arrive more than 10 minutes late for your service, your appointment may be rescheduled in order to meet the needs of those who are on time for their pre-reserved visit. At Elle Marie Hair Studio we pride ourselves on working as a team and will gladly work together, doing our best to accommodate our guest’s appointments. However, in the rare case we are unable to accommodate a guest due to decreased time, it will be considered a missed appointment.

HeAlth & Safety

Here at Elle Marie Hair Studio, we prioritize the health and safety of our guests. With this in mind, please be aware that sensitivities to professional hair color and other professional chemicals can develop at any time, and as such most manufacturers recommend a patch test be performed 48 hours prior to any services where these products come into direct contact with the skin. We know many of our guests have been receiving these services without any adverse reaction for quite some time, and for your convenience we are providing you with the option of waiving your patch test. Please note that manufactures recommend this test be done prior to every chemical service (regardless of previous patch test outcomes) and that a negative patch test does not guarantee you will not have an adverse reaction.

All guests receiving a color service at Elle Marie Hair Studio must either have a patch test performed OR submit a waiver declining the patch test.

Patch Test Waiver forms will be included with email confirmations and text message reminders. If you have not submitted the waiver when you arrive for your reservation, you will be asked to complete one before your service can begin.
